Most of my trips into NH end up being into the White Mountains or around Lake Winnepesaukee regions. That is when I'm not driving through it on the way up to Maine or flying into one of the smaller airports scattered around the state.
New Hampshire is one of the more beautiful states in the North East of the US. It is absolutely stunning, no matter which season. In the summer the green covers most of the state - from 6,000ft+ mountains to the ocean coast. There's much snow and excellent skiing in the winter, and the autumn foliage has few equals anywhere. There's plenty to do if you like outdoors - skiing, hiking, biking, cayaking, or just plain exploring. |
