  • Finding a place to stay shouldn't be too much of a problem in Dublin, unless you try to find a bed in the middle of July with no prior planning. That can turn into an adventure. So if you're planning to visit in the middle of the summer, plan ahead. But there are plenty of hostels and B&Bs all over the city, not to mention the hotels. Hostels tend to be decent, at leat the ones I stayed at. Try the Ashfield House.

     I've still yet to see Ireland. The Cathedral sounds fabulous. Apache Pizza and Dublin doesn't seem to go..lol That ball looks like the one at the Vatican. At least you got a free pint:-)

     my hotel will be very near ChristChurch so spending quality time there will be easy; thanks for the crypt tip. but Guinness only gives ONE pint gratis now?? Imagine, when I was there in '96, it was TWO, and then I did not like the stuff, what a fool...;-O
