Update 24 July 2002
Updating my Amsterdam Travelogues with some 150 new photos and stories about the Zaanseschans.
I live in the vilage called Emmen, about 35 kilometers south-east of Assen.
There are about 100,000 people living here, it's quite an industrial area but also good for tourists to have a look around in the local zoo and to see the 'Hunebedden'.

The atmosphere was good May 31st and I am already looking forward to the coming Festivals as we will have the C'est la Vie Festival on July 28th.
ITS NEXT WEEKEND!!!
A Festival filled with street theater and podium performance. Maybe you would like to come as well? Opening is at 1pm and we party on until 1am on Monday morning :)
