If I could sum up Whiting, Indiana in three words I would say, "Cute but stinky." Kinda like my dog.

6-16-03: Yes, VT member Dabs is right, the picture above isn't Whiting! It's actually the neighboring Hammond community of Robertsdale. Time to get some better pics indeed! But I still stand by my "cute but stinky" comment! ;-)

Heh, the best that Whiting has is old houses? There must be a bowling alley somewhere (Orange has a bowling alley tip)

I'm just glad that someone cares enough to do these blue collar, midwestern towns. Whiting hasn't changed much over the years.
