Continuing on on our Pisa trip, we traveled by train from Lucca down to Piombino to spend the night before catching the ferry the next morning over to Elba, do stay at Piombino and not Piombino Marritima if doing the same, as there is nothing at the port area.We only went for the day returning that evening to catch the train to Siena.
The picture is of Portoferrio where the ferries land in Elba.
