Hi VT'ers
My name is Sally and I live on the outskirts of London in North Kent. I live in a flat overlooking the Thames River, with my partner Joe, and my dog Woody.
It's a short drive to a large shopping centre called Bluewater, close to the Queen Elizabeth the II bridge, that crosses the river at Dartford.
London is only a half hours drive into the city. That if you don't get stuck in traffic.

If you go the other way the coast is just an hours drive .So it's easy to get a ferry to France and Belgium which I offten do.
The nearest town to me is Gravesend, claim to fame Pocohontus is buried here in St.Georges Church graveyard.
Graveyards seem to be a theam as this place got it's name because this is where the graves streched too when burying the dead from the great plague of London.

Kent is know as the garden of England, and it's a short drive to feilds of corn, apple and cherry orchards, old oast house and villages with locals dressed in dazzeling whites and playing cricket on hot summer days.
