Just spent a few hours in Pszczyna but really enjoyed it. It was Sunday 1st May 2005 and there was a parade and bands playing in the Rynek.
We'd come to visit the historic castle (and latterly palatial home) which is just next to the Rynek -- we went on a tour of the museum there and then walked around the extensive grounds -- finally went back to the Rynek for a cooling ice-cream with fruit -- the perfect end to a very nice visit to Pszczyna. |

What detailed information you've got here on Pszczyna castle! I was in Pszczyna only once, about twenty years ago. By the way, I'd love to hear you pronounce the name 'Pszczyna' - a real tongue twister, isn't it? | Toja Mon May 30, 2005 05:29 UTC
