Getting some pictures on here, finally..... I'm pleased to say that I'm now able to more easily post pictures on my pages because I can get my film put on CD now, which makes it nearly as good as a digital camera. So, I am getting more pics, from recent events at least, onto my pages. We've had a suprising number of great VT Meetings in Montreal the past couple summers (and other times of year too,) and many good stories from those are now at my Montreal page! Hopefully, I'll get some of my other travel pictures into some digital format soon so I can build my other pages. It's frustrating to have hundreds of pics from all over the world and not be able to share them here! (Wish they'd offered this CD thing four years earlier.....) Just keep in mind, almost all of my travel has been done since 1997, much of it on a RTW trip! I imagine I'll figure a way to put all those pics on here someday..... |

Dean for America As many know I'm a big supporter of the man who should have been the next President of the United States, Howard Dean, M.D., who is my state's former Governor. As you can see from the picture, we are attracting all sorts to the campaign. We are proud to be expanding the campaign to reach those with a different appreciation of, "Grassroots Democracy!" |
| Appropriate attire for parade watching |
Montreal, the finest city I've found yet! I became involved with VT through the Montreal VT Meetings, which we have quite frequently. Of all the great cities of the world I've visited, Montreal still is tops with me, and how convenient that it's also so close to where I live! Visit my Montreal page to see more of our Meetings and the variety of festivals and other fun events this magnificent city has to offer. (Pictured is the St. Patrick's Day parade, which is the oldest consecutively running one in North America.) |

VT Meetings I highly recommend all VT members look around for VT Meetings wherever they may be in the world. I've only been to Meetings in Montreal and Ottawa, multiple times in each place, and I've met some terrific fellow members and we've had some wonderful times together! (In Montreal we've kind of made a regular thing of it this summer!) So, check-out the Meetings & Events Page, and browse the Forums for notices about Meetings where you'll be (or better yet, don't wait for someone else, propose a VT Meeting yourself at the Forums!!) |
| Ste. Catherine St. lit-up for Jazz Fest 2005 |
Jazz Fest 2005 Not quite a big as last year, which was the 25th Anniversary, but still a wonderful time in this great city. Ste. Catherine St. in front of the Place des Arts is closed off for free outdoor concerts and it's transformed into a big outdoor jazz club! |
| Just for Laughs on Ste. Denis St. |
Just for Laughs Festival 2005 I'm updating my Montreal pages with pictures from this year's summertime festivals, which have been great as usual. |
Montreal Highland Games 2005 The Montreal Highland Games have come back to being an annual event again. Excellent pipe and drum bands competing from around Canada and the States, and traditional tossing the kaber and other games. I'll have more at my Montreal pages. |
