One of the worst trips ever...

After having stayed at the Grey Rocks Inn in Ste. Agathe, we had decided to take in the Old City in Quebec!! What a mistake....Although our accomodations were great in Quebec city, the Ramada Inn, the "Old City" was the pits. We found the locals to be rude, nasty and downright insulting to Americans.

One a bus tour, the driver ripped off a newly-wed couple by refusing to take his credit card when he was told by the hotel the driver would...and the driver charged him full Canadian value...

I had given the driver American money for which he owed my change of $5...He told me he didn't have any change and if I could follow him he would get it for me. I did. He stepped into a small cafe, and I waited for 15 minutes outside. Having had enough, I walked in and he was sitting at a table with another having coffee. He dropped his jaw when he saw me...(I guess he thought I wouuld just forget about it.) With that I walked over to him and asked him if he forgot my change!! With that and some half-hearted apology, he finally gave me the five dollars...

Take it from us..."DON'T TRUST THE TOUR GUIDES"

The nice experience was the Frontenac Hotel and walking abound the "Old City"...but caution...do it on your own!!
