I've been through New Mexico three times. The first was in 1988 on my big trip out west after earning my first master's degree. I made a couple of stops to see things in the state on that trip. The second was in 1991 when I drove through New Mexico on my trip to Utah. The third was in 1992 when I vacationed around Santa Fe.
I have written a travelogue on my 1992 vacation and consider it to be the centerpiece of this page. It is a little more topical and less chronological than my Texas travelogue, but I think it covers the Santa Fe/Albuquerque area pretty well. I will split some warnings from the travelogue into the "warnings and dangers" categories here on VT. I will also add info on places that I saw on my 1988 and 1991 trips. |
