I was in Aspen only briefly for a grass doubles volleyball tournament known as the Motherlode during Labor Day weekend in 1997. It was pretty ironic that I loved to ski and yet I didn't ski at all in a famous ski town. I didn't even go during ski season! So someday I will be back to ski there. So I'm sorry that I don't have many tips for you regarding Aspen since it was a short trip and most of my time was spent playing volleyball or trying to recuperate from a day of volleyball. Check out my travelogue to see a few pictures from the trip. |

dannyt3 Fri May 30, 2008 21:12 UTC Locals know this place as the Popcorn Wagon. They don't sell crepes anymore. It is right next to Eric's, so around 2am they'll be a line of party goers waiting to get some late night grub: pitas, hot dogs, jalepeno poppers, chicken fingers, etc. | angel6 Mon Mar 10, 2003 00:15 UTC I lived in Aspen for a year. The hardest thing is that restaursants change rapidlyHERE TODAY...GONE TOMORROW | orlikins Wed Dec 18, 2002 14:18 UTC hey you can always go back :) | B_Caro Thu Feb 7, 2002 21:09 UTC looks like a nice trip |
