At 2.10pm me and my parents left home. We were driving to Düsseldorf, Germany. We arrived there aroun 3.45pm. We walked to the check-in desk, but there was nobody present. So, we walked first to a McDonalds for some food. After this we went back to the check-in desk. Now it was open and there was a little que. It took about 10 minuteds before it was my turn. I checked in. Once I was ready, I went through customs. I walked to the gate. On the boarding pass it said it was C36, but in fact it was C31. At a certain time they started boarding. Once I was in the plane, I went to the seat and got myself ready for take off. In 9,5 hours I was in the Maldives.

At 9am I landed in Male. It was +32C (about +90F) and humid. With the bus they brought you to the terminal (which was not that far). In the building you had to go through customs. This was taking a while as there was another flight before ours. Once I got through customs I went to the belt for my suitcase. Which arrived shortly after I was standing there. Through the door outside. Right around the corner there was a desk of TUI. I was informed about the boat and I got a card for the hotel. I had to wait about half an hour before I was in the boat. A man walked around with a sign of the hotel. Everybody that were going to the same island as I was, were following this man. He was leading us to the boat. I stepped inside the boat. Once everybody was sitting, the men of the boat were loading the suitcases in the boat. Then it was time to go. The boattrip lasted for 1,5 hours. It was really fun and nice as there was a nice wind. Around 11.30am I arrived at the island. First the suitcases went out and then the people. I walked to the main building. I got a drink. I had to wait a minuter for the bus. Once the bus came, I went inside. The bus brought me to the other side of the island. By the hotel I got another drink. First another couple were brought to their room. Then it was my turn. I went to the waterbungalow. When I arrived there, I phoned home. After that I went for a shower. Then it was time for lunch. After lunch I went back to my room were I relaxed for the rest of the afternoon. At 4.30pm I went to the bar. I had a tosti and a drink. Then I went back to the room and waited for dinner. After dinner I went to bed.

This morning I woke up at 8am. After dressing up I went for breakfast. When I was ready with eating, I packed my stuff. I was on the beach for about 2 hours. I lay down and was swimming in the water. Back in the room I put my rhings there. I went for lunch. After lunch I went sitting on the porch. And I was swimming once in a while. Against 4.30pm I went to the bar for a sandwich and a drink. Then I went to the beach for sunset. There were to many clouds at the horizon to see the sun going down in the sea. After that I walked back. By the bar there was a guy feeding the stringrays. This lasted for a half an hour. Then I walked to my room. I waited for finner. After dinner I relaxed before going to bed.

This morning I wook up around 8am. After breakfast I took the little bus to the other side of the island. I went to the souvenirshop. I looked around. I just bought some postcards and stamps. Then I took the little bus back to the resort I was staying at. Up there I walked around. Looking around to find a spot to lay down for the next day. Which I didn't found. At a certain time I went back to my room. I put my stuff in the room. Then I went for lunch. After lunch I went back to my room. The afternoon I spend on the porch and swimming around. Around 4.30pm I went having a sandwich and a drink. Then I went to the beach. I watched sunset. It was a little clouded, so I didn't see the sun going down into the sea. Then I went back to the room, waited for dinner.

This morning I woke up at 8am. After breakfast I went back to the room to get my things. I went to the little beach I used to go before. I put my things down on the beach. First I went into the water. Which was really delighting. After that laying on the beach. Later on I went into the water again. When it was nearly 12pm, I went back to the room to put my stuff there. Then I went for lunch. After lunch I went back to the room. In the afternoon I was sitting on the porch. And swimming around once in a while. Around 4.30pm I went having a sandwich and a drink. This time I had a cocktail (without alcohol). The cocktail was named Coconut Lips. Which was yummie. After this I went to the souvenirshop. I bought some extra postcards. And a gift for my parents. I went back to the other side of the island. Where I had dinner.

This morning I woke up at 8am. After breakfast I grabbed my stuff and I went to the beach were I was before. I swam and lay down for a while. When it was 11am, I went back to my room. I put my things down in the room. As the cleaners were cleaning with the neighbours, I went outside. I walked for a while. At a certain time I went back to the room. I sat down on the porch and went reading. Around 12.45pm I went for a lunch. After lunch I went back to the room. I sat down on the porch and went reading. I was in the water once in a while. Around 4.30pm I went to the bar. I had a cocktail (non-alcoholic) and a sandwich. Once I was finished I went to the beach. I was hoping to see the sun going down in the sea. But there were too many clouds on the horizon. But it was nice to see it anyway. After a while I walked back to the room and had a relaxing time till dinner. At 7.30pm I went out for dinner. After dinner I went back to the room and relaxed till I went to bed.

This morning I woke up at 8am. After dressing up I went to have breakfast. Once I was done, I walked back to the room. When I was nearby, I saw that the cleaners were busy in my room. So I waited for a while. I walked around a bit. Once they were ready, I went into my room. The morning I was sitting on the porch. And going into the water once in a while. Around 12pm it rained!! When it was 12.45pm, I went out for lunch. After lunch I was sitting down on the porch reading and swimming. Around 4.30pm I went to the bar. I had a cocktail (non-alcoholic) and a sandwich. After a while I left. I went to the beach. I went to see the sun over there. Once I was back in the room I relaxed till dinner. At 7.30pm it was time for dinner. After dinner it was relaxing time.

This morning I woke up at 8am. After breakfast I went back to the room to grabb my things. I went to the beach where I was laying before. I went into the water a few times. Which was really nice. After a while I went back to the room. When I was near my room, I saw that they were busy cleaning my room. So, I walked around. After a while I returned in my room. I sat down on the porch for some time. Around 12.45pm I went to the restaurant for lunch. After lunch I went back to the room. I read for some time. And splasing in the water. This afternoon the water was pretty wild. Around 4.30pm I went to the bar for a drink and a sandwich. Around 5.15pm I took the bus to the other side of the island. I went to the souveniershop. But I couldn't find anything. So, after that I walked around. Once I was finished with that, I took the bus back to the resort I was staying. I walked to the beach. Try to see the sun going down in the sea. But unfortunately this time there were clouds in the sky as well. After the sun was gone, I went to see the stringray feeding. I stayed there for a few minutes. After that I went to my room. Around 7.30pm it was time to have dinner.

This morning I woke up at 8am. After breakfast I went to the room for my things. When I walked out of the room, I saw somebody of the cleaners coming for my room. So, I walked ahead to the beach. I was off/on in the water. After a while I went back to my room. I was there for a little while before going to lunch. During lunch there was this wind and rain out of nowhere. Really odd to experience. The waiters rain to the windows to do the shutters down. After lunch I went out to see the sea. Which was really rough. I went back to my room. It was clouded for a while and the sea wild. But after a while the sun came. The rest of the afternoon I was sitting down on the porch. Reading and swimming. The sea stayed wild for the rest of the afternoon. Around 4.30pm I went to the bar for a drink and a sandwich. After that I went to a beach for some sand (which I took for my penpal). It was really windy to walk further. So I decided to go back to the room. Around 7.30pm I went to the restaurant for dinner. After dinner I went back to my room to relax.

This morning I woke up at 8am. After breakfast I went back to my room. Near my room I saw that the cleaners were busy cleaning my room. I went for a walk. When I was by the beach were I was laying down, I saw that the water was much higher then usual. After that I went to the reception. I applied for the Rashdoo Shopping trip. Then I went to the room. I was sitting down on the porch for a while. As the water was too wild, I couldn't go in there for a swim. And the clouds were coming as well. Around 12.45pm I went for lunch. During lunch there was rain coming over the island. After lunch I went back to my room. I was reading and relaxing. In the afternoon there was a shower again. At a certain time I went for a shower and making myself ready for the trip. But at one point the reception called that the Rashdoo Shopping Trip was cancelled due to bad weather. Which was a bit of a bummer. So, I chanced clothers and went on reading. Around 4.30pm I went to the bar for a drink and sandwich. After that I went back to the room to relax till dinner. During dinner it started to rain again. And the wind was really hard. After dinner I went backt to the room to relax.

15 July 2008

This morning I woke up 8am. After dressing up I went for breakfast. The wind was blowing really hard. Once I was finished, I went walking around. I went to the beach I was staying before. I saw that the water was high again. Once back in the room I went relaxing. Early in the afteroon it started to rain again. It stayed this way during lunch. The wind started to blow harder. The sea was getting wilder as well. It was a wild afternoon (the same as the day before). Didn't see any sun today. Around 7.30pm I went for dinner.

This morning I woke up at 8am. After breakfast I went to the beach. I saw that the water was still high. At one point I looked to the left. And then to the right. To the right I saw that the sky was really 'black'. Dark clouds were coming. I wanted to make pictures of this dark sky, so I walked to the beach. When I was nearby, it started to rain really hard. I tryed to hide, but it didn't went well. So, I ran to my room. Once I reached my room, I was pretty wet. It stayed grey for a long time. Around 11am the sun started to shine. Till lunch I sat at the porch. After lunch I went back to the room. I sat down on the porch. Around 4.30pm I went to the bar for a drink and sandwich. Around 7.30pm I went for dinner.
