This morning I woke up at 8am. After breakfast I put the last stuff in the suitcase. At one point I put the suitcase in the car. My dad and I started to drive to Schiphol. We arrived there around 11am. I checked-in right away. I walked straight to customs as I had about an hour to go to the gate. It took a long time to get through customs. Once I got through customs, I went to the bank for some Estionian Kroons. Then I went to the gate as I hadn't much time left. At the gate I had to wait for about 10 minutes. Boarding was starting and the plane was complete full. The plane departed at 12.55pm (instead of 12.35pm). At 2pm I was at the airport of Copenhagen. Once out of the plane I went to the transfer desk to get the boarding ticket for the next flight. Once I got that, I walked to the gate. I went into the plane (it was full for about 95%). At 3.05pm the plane left and at 5.25 pm I arrived at the airport of Tallinn. Once out of the plane I went to bagage claim. I didn't had to wait long for my suitcase (about 2 minutes). After getting my suitcase, I went outside. I took a cab to the hotel. It took about 15 minutes. At the hotel I had to wait a bit because there was one person in front of me. Once it was my turn, I checked in. I walked to the room and left my luggage there. I went outside to a restaurant. I went to Raekoja Plats and had dinner by an Italian restaurant (Bossanova). After an hour I left the restaurant. Via an alley, Pikk I walked to Nunne. During the walk I made pictures. Also I walked to the train station and made pictures over there. At one point I walked back to the hotel and relaxed the rest of the evening.

By the reception I bought a Tallinn Card for 48 hours. After I bought this, I went walking. This is what I saw during the day:
- Tallinn Town Wall (Laboretooriumi) - The Great Coast Gate - Fat Margaret - Monument for the ferry disaster of the Estonia - Maritime Musuem - St Olaf's Church - KGB headquarter building - Nikolai Kirik (St Nicholas Church) - City Museum - Lunch at Ribe restaurant - Town Council Pharmacy - White Bread Passage - Holy Spirit Church - Raekoja Plats - Town Hall - State History Museum - St Canutus Guild Hall - Buildings of the Brotherhood of the Blackheads - Souvenirshop against St Olaf's Church - Walked above the Town Wall - Drank hot chocolate at cafe Pagaripoisia
Around 4.10pm I was back in the hotel. I relaxed over there. At 5pm I went to the Rakeoja Plats. I watched were I wanted to eat dinner. This time I ate by Revalia. After dinner I went back to the hotel and relaxed for the rest of the evening. |

This morning I woke up at 7.30am. When I looked outside, it was raining. After getting dressed, I went downstairs to have breakfast. Once I was ready with breakfast I went back to my room. I packed my bag. After that I went to the reception and asked about the weather forecast for the day. She said it was going to be rainy the whole day. So, I started to walk to a shop first. I bought an umbrella. After that I saw the next things during the walk:
- Pikk Jalg Gate Tower - Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral - Toompea Castle - Lookout points on Toompea Hill - Dome Church - Knighthood House - Kiek-in-de-Rö - Lunch at McDonalds - Viru Keskus (shopping mall) - Tallinna Kaumbamaja (shopping mall)
After I got out of the shopping mall, the sun was shining. I walked back to the Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral. Made some pictures over there. Then I walked to the various lookouts to have better pictures over the city. Next to the Estonian parliament building there is a route going doing. Which I took. I had hot chocolate and a brownie by cafe Pagaripoisia. At one point I went to the hotel and relaxed a bit. When it was 4.45pm I went to the harbour to have a look over there. I walked around over there. It was really chilly while I was there. Then I walked back to Raekoja Plats to have dinner at Revalia restaurant. After dinner I went back to the hotel and relaxed for the evening. |

This morning I woke up at 7.30am. Around 8am I had breakfast. After breakfast I went back to my room. I packed my suitcase. I checked if I had everything. Everything was ok. Then I walked to the reception. I checked out. I arranged a cab (to go to the airport later that morning). I had time left for the flight back home, so I left my suitcase at the hotel and went for a walk. I walked up to the lookout next to the Estonian parliament. I stayed there for a while. Then I walked further. Via the Russian Orthodox Cathedral to Raekoja Plats. I stayed there for a bit. After that I walked back to the hotel. I collected my suitcase and stayed in the hotel till the cab came. The cab took me to the airport. The ride took about 15 minutes. Once I got inside the building, I went to check in. I didn't had to wait long. I checked in and also got the boarding pass for the fligth from Copenhagen to Amseterdam. Once I was done, I went through customs (which was easy). First I went for lunch. After that, I went to the gate. I had to wait about 15 minutes before I could go aboard. The flight to Copenhagen lasted for 1 hour and 20 minutes. In Copenhagen I had to walk quite a long distance to go to the next gate. By the gate I had to wait for some time. It appeared that another plane had to come from SAS airline. When this airplane came, everybody went inside. Once everybody sat down, one of the doors didn't close properly. So, a mechanic had to come to solve this problem. After all the plane departed an hour later as scheduled. The flight itself took about an hour. In Amsterdam I had to wait some time to get my suitcase (as usuall). My parents waited for me outside. We went to the car and went back home (where I arrived at 7pm). | | | Alexander Nevsky Russian Orthodox Cathedral |
