10 September 2007
Today it was a rainy day. I didn't made a lot of pictures. I drove via Eyrarbakki and Dorlakshofn. In Eyrarbakk there were several coloured houses. Which was nice to see. I went back to Selfoss to have lunch. After lunch I drove to Hveragerdi. First I went to the geothermal greenhouse at Eden. This is a tourist shop of plants. Then I went to see the geothermal fields in the centre of the town and the Steam Valley. At a certain point I went to the hotel to check in.

Regina1965 Thu Jun 5, 2008 11:49 UTC Lovely pictures of Hveragerši and Eyrarbakki. This area got badly hit by an earthquake a few days ago, so it has changed a bit, new fissures and hot mud splashing out of the ground. |
