Hiya,
My name is Janka and I live in the Netherlands (Apeldoorn to be exactly).
Traveling is one of my big passions. I love to explore this planet! :) Some people are staying on the same campingspot in the same country year in year out. I try to go to different countries each year.
Living in Europe is a great benefit. There are so many countries to go to and you can go to other countries really easily. From my hometown it is about 45 minutes to Germany, 2/2,5 hours to Belgium and in 6 hours you are in Paris, France (all distances are driven by car).
The first years of my live I was camping in a tent. Later on my parents bought a caravan. The last couple of years I am staying in hotels. Every aspect has it charm.
Here is a list of countries which I have visited in the past.
Receiving postcards is one other thing I like. So, if you want to send me a postcard from your next trip, please give me a line for my address.
Since January 2002 I am a member of virtualtourist.com. Back then I was scrolling around on the internet. At one point I saw this site. So, I went to have a look. And from that point I am hooked on this site. There are so many great & interesting pages/photos on this site. The site can be an addiction from time to time.

Cardiff, Wales From 29 May 2009 till 1 June 2009 I went to Cardiff, Wales (UK). I had a lovely stay over there. Nice weither as well (+24C and sunny the whole weekend).

New York City From 14 June till 22 June 2008 I went to New York City (USA). This was the first time I went to NYC. I had a great time over there. I also met my penpal from NYC. I even attended a VT-meeting for the first time! Wow, that was really nice one. :)

| | Iceland From 02 September till 22 September 2007 I went to Iceland. The first day I met my Icelandic penpal. The next 2 weeks I was alone at this trip and in my last week my parents came over (I also had my birthday during my holiday). What a fantastic scenery and nature!!! Abolutely lovely. Although it rained a lot when I was there....
