I only passed briefly through Anif on the Sound of Music tour long enough to view the castle (which can be seen in the flyby at the beginning of the film). We only got to see it through the bus window; it's private property and surrounded by a high wall.
I'm told that this used to be a little farming community until they discovered that milking tourists was more profitable than milking cows.
