Cyprus is closed in january ! We travelled to Protaras for 2 weeks all inclusive package deal to the Anastasia beach hotel on 8th January 2003,this was my first time here and we thoroughly enjoyed it.However we came for decent weather, peace + quiet and a bit of sightseeing we were not dissapointed, any of you out there looking for the action here at this time of year forget it because basically "Cyprus is closed in january !" This is when all building work ,repairs and roadswork is done we saw a few bar owners painting their property also a 400m stretch of the main 'strip' in Protaras was completley dug up whilst new service pipes were being laid. |
Scenery Dont let the picture above put you off Cyprus truly is a charming land full of beautiful scenery ,culture and history with the most welcoming hospitality anywhere |
