| | Local transport Tunisia & the Tunisians; Tunisia is the smallest country in North Africa,a mere 200km from the sands of the mediterranean beaches to the palms at its desert oases. A strategic location and fertile land has made Tunisia a much coveted land, repeatedly captured & defended over the years. The Phoenicians,Romans,Byzantines,Arabs and Ottomans have all left thier legacy of ruined temples, stunning mosaics and ornate architecture. Second time in tunny had just split up with my long term girlfriend(sacred in india),so i went for a month to get my life back on track. Spent the new millenium over there in Sousse the first two weeks it rained with a few bright days but x-mas day was a warm sunny day. That's me ON the horse by the way |
| | Flying colours(remember them?) I have been to Tunisia on 2 occasions the first was in fact my first ever time abroad and I went on my own for 1 week in December 1998,this was truly an experience that I will never forget, nor the Tunisians for that.Nevermind they did actually let me back into the country only 1 year later |
