I’ve been to Paris sever times – few times alone. It’s safe city in general. But, as everywhere, here are the pickpockets too. I’ve met some tourists who lost their wallets and passports in metro or Forum des Halles. Just imagine you are in the big city in your own country. It helps you to avoid such problems. All around The Eiffel Tower, Musee du Louvre, Sacre Coeur …hundreds of people would try to sell you souvenirs, ask for help, money and so on and so on... Sometimes is hard to walk in such places, especially in the Jardin du Carrousel. Well, remember, you DON’T have to buy anything. Just say “NO”
