TUNISIA

by Irato - last update: Sep 27, 2002

<FONT COLOR="#004080">Tunisia was a first stop during a scientific Sahara expedition. Friends of mine and I prepared our PhD about desertification. We planed to go from Marocco to Egypt, but we couldn't cross Algeria. So, some of us went to Marocco and others to Tunisia, Libya and Egypt.
It was a happy period of our lifes. Not limited by time much (one month more was not a problem) we could enjoy a desert as well as other interesting places. We had our cars, so we could go wherever we need or want very easy.

We didn't stay at hotels often so I can't tell you where to sleep and not much about a nightlife, but I can show you the beauty of places I was lucky to visit.
