"Good family memories" Lake Hope State Park by heplion

Lake Hope hold alot of great memories for me from childhood. when I was a wee one, we used to travelhere every summer for about a week with the whole family (grandparents, to grandchildren , aunts and uncles, cousins and siblings). There might be anywhere from 10 to 20 of us there depending on the year. The park is situated in the middle of nowhere. Maybe an hour drive or so from Columbus Ohio and about the same to Marrieta. It is close to some small towns, including Nelsonville where we would go and watch movies sometimes at an old school that had been converted into a movie theatre. The seats were VERY uncomfortable. My family went this year to renew the tradition, but I am in Russia and my wife is still waiting for her Greencard interview I wasn't able to join them :( Maybe next year....
