Again, not sure if this is a must see, but it is rather historic. If you are American, I am sure you remember seeing the pictures of Soviets standing in long lines to purchase certain items (we were told it was toilet paper and bread on the evening news). Now it is an upscale shopping mall with Gucci and Prada and shelves that most likely are never empty...
What To Pay: Things here are generally as expensive as any store in the "west" and sometimes more so.

Name of Shop: Ismilovskaya park
This is probably the largest craft market in Moscow. It is relatively easy to get to and the shopkeepers will bargain.
What To Buy: At Ismilovskaya Park you can get teh famous Matrushka dolls, hand painted Santa clauses, antique samavars, Russian china, crystal glasses for vodka, hand painted Russian eggs (I got a really great one specially painted for my sister and her husband for their wedding with their faces painted into a Russian fairy tale!) as well as crafts from some of the other CIS countries
What To Pay: Much less than if you shop on Arbat. Don't forget to bargain
