I visit Montpelier for a weekend destination to relax. I start to relax by using Amtrak's Vermonter train to travel to this great little city. If you expect it to be a city as in NYC, forget it. This is realy a big town.
Try the properties of the New England Culinary Institute for supporting and enjoying a fine meal by those in training.
- Pros:It's guiet, nice eateries, a place to wind-down
- Cons:Limited entertainment
- In a nutshell:A fine New England weekend
