Almost Got Married
A frequent visitor to Churchill Downs during the last century. Now I have wonderful memories. Sitting in the sun, Reading the Racing Form, Smoking a Cigar, Drinking Mint Juleps. Cashing a Winning Ticket, and almost getting married?! We made an agreement to meet the next year and tie the knot, but she never showed. Guess she sobered up.
