For those who like to get away from it all

Harvester is an island at the mouth of Uyak Bay not to far from the village of Larsen Bay. This picture was taken while flying past, beyond the island is the Shelikof strait, and the Katmai range forms a nice backdrop on the Alaskan mainland. Harvester Island is leased to a local man who runs a setnet operation there during the fishing season.
