Things To Do: Earthquake Park

Earthquake park, located near the airport, shows the effects of the 1964 "Good Friday" Earthquake. The interpretive signs give an idea of how the landscape was changed. The park has a well designed theme, where on one side, all is neat and pretty, and then things are jumbled about. It is not something that everyone would notice, but I thought it was a nice touch. Peggy and Diane are hidng among the Birch Trees. This photo is taken as an homage to their mother's favorite artist, whose name escapes me, but he does similar paintings. (let me know the name so I can clean up this tip)
