Note:At the ticket booth locals offer themselves as your personal guide. They say they are legal guides, paid by the government. True, they will tell you interesting things about the pyramids and their history. But after the tour they appear not to be satisfied with the average tip and try to coax more money out of you. Don't give in, a small tip is more than enough!
