Mr. Nice Bum here is on one end of a big pond in front of the Provincial Capitol building in my city. I never really noticed him before but since I've taken an interest in photography, everything suddenly looks like a photo opportunity.
Bacolod is home. I grew up here...in an island where sugar was and still is the main source of income for most people.
I can't boast of beaches like most other islands but the people here are warm and our culinary delights, oh so sweet!
Come visit and experience what the singsong lilt of the "ilonggo" dialect can do to you in "The City of Smiles".
Note: Most of my good tips will be in Off the beaten path. This is mostly due to the fact that other than sampling our excellent food, there isn't much to do in the city itself. |
