Florence gets a lot of raves for the beautiful sights and the museums but I think the most I heard from people even before I left for the trip was about how one can go crazy shopping over there. Well, my credit cards were hoping to prove them wrong but the never-ending rows of shops selling wonderful stuff just broke my resolve...
The picture was taken from a window in the Uffizi which had a great view of Ponte Vecchio.

haha !30 per night including breakfast...That would be 2 weeks for 2 people including breakfast at my standard!! LOL You're right ..crowded places usually have the best food! Florence is so beautiful!! Cool page Syl!

eating chinese food in Italy what a blasphemy, btw many says the most beautiful cathedral (Duomo) in Italy is the one at Orvieto in Umbria

Besides being such a beautiful city the shopping is great - I got pink coral earrings there, most bought leather coats. You brought back some great memories - thanks!
