I was expecting Rome to be as beautiful as others who have gone before me said it was but I never really thought it would have as much impact on me as it did. I initially spent 5 days in Rome and actually came back for 2 more because I liked it so much. Among all of the places I've visited, Rome would be one of those that I wouldn't mind going back to over and over.
My roman holiday was especially made special by the people at the hotel...Barbara and Brigitte, you're both wonderful!

Great pages and tips. I would love to go to Rome and see the Colisseum, isn't that frustrating when you visit a great landmark and its' under construction inside? like the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, forever being refurbished.- Tony
