That's not a golf ball he's trying to hit but one of those markers they have where you tee off.
I've already said this before. I'm not a sun worshipper but the few times I stayed out in the sun long enough, I did get a nice tan.
Problem is, it doesn't seem to last and I just end up looking too dark. I did learn a tanning trick from my friend Tish who tans really nicely.
Put a higher SPF sunblock first then apply tanning oil over it. Don't know if this really works for everyone but it works for us. No burning but a nice glow after sensible sunning.
Tan...don't burn...and show it off!
Boracay isn't just for fun in the sand. Some moments are for pure contemplation and meditation.
Paraw (Native Outrigger)
A Paraw is a local sailboat...native outriggers that are still used by local fishermen.
I've never done this before but it's highly recommended by my friends Abet and Diane to sail in a paraw to watch the sunset. Wonderfully romantic describes Abet dreamily.

Beach Massage
Ever had 4 sets of hands working on you? This guy thought it would be a totally different experience...and it was although it must have been quite confusing rather than relaxing.
An hour under any of these women's expert fingers with the soothing sound of the waves in your ear is a blissful experience all for a whopping $4.
There will be guys on the beach approaching you to ask if you want to go for a boat ride. They can be quite pushy but nicely say you'll find them if you're ready to go on one.
It's worth it. They'll take you around the island and stop at beaches on the other side if you ask them to or anchor somewhere for you to get off to snorkel. It shouldn't cost you more than $20 for a 4 hour ride maybe in a boat for 4 people.
There's another island close to Boracay where we got off to take photos...the sand isn't as fine and last year there were no overnight accommodations but you can go in and around some caves on the island.
