The West coast of Brittany is littered with good windsurfing spots. From the famous La Torche spot in the South to the speed base in Brest, via the windy beaches, there is always a spot that has the right wind and the right waves to provide fun to windsurf enthusiasts. Some of the more secluded beaches are also great for beginners

Equipment: You can bring your own equipment but you can also rent locally. Do bring a wetsuit though because the water can be fairly cool, even in summer.

I lived in Bretagne as a little girl and went back as a "jeune fille au pair". I miss the cidre and wish someone would make it-locally- in the US (near Santa Fe!)!

Good page about Bretagne! I have one, too. The English word for "genêt" is "broom" (I've found it in a dictionary).
