    Because the state of Luxembourg is wealthy, it doesn't really need money from tax. This is why everything that is heavilly taxed everywhere else in Europe, such as petrol and cigarettes, is comparatively cheap in Luxembourg. This is why the Luxembourg Shell station on the motorway to France is the largest in Europe.

    What To Buy: Fill up the car and if so inclined get some ciggies.

    What To Pay: About 20 to 25% less than most EU countries although as I don't smoke and haven't had a car for 5 years I wouldn't know how much that is.
