    • If you are in Sydney for the first time, you have to go and see the Opera House. It would be like not going to the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Even if you are totally set against doing the standard tourist thing, go and see it just for the architecture.

     I agree with you on the Taxis. I carry a map when I get into a Taxi now! Sometimes I think they just want to take you the long way...!
