A stranger at home

Flowers - the essence of Spring

Flowers - ads during the revolution
When I lived in Iran, this was the ad break on TV. After the revolution, during the war, life was not easy. So, I think this is a good symbol of my times in Iran!

Home or Away?

I finally managed to get to Iran after a 16 year absence. I went to the town of my birth, my mother's country.
All was a world away from where I have turned from a teenager into an adult. There is so much to talk about, I'll add them as I go along. Do let it suffice to say that I was truly a stranger at a place I once called home. I didn't look so different from everyone else, I don't have an accent in Persian, so what was going on?

Pros:"Beautiful country and people - much to learn and see"
Cons:"Restrictive"
In A Nutshell:"Things aren't that much better... Not really!"
