I had wanted to go Cuba for a long time, as I wanted to see it before it changed (too much). Of course, many tourists had thought the same and it is certainly not what it used to be, but still people's lives are not easy and Fidel Castro lives on.
I visited this country for the first time and stayed for two weeks. Although it has many flaws and people are out to milk the tourist dollars, it was an amazing experience.
The young girl in the photo desperately wanted me to give her a candy/sweet for taking this photo (I did not have any with me), and I can only hope that she will not in less than ten years give more than photos for some dollars.
I will get around to writing my travelogue on it soon, I hope.

Havana is like Cuba a place to dream and laugh together with the Cubans and enjoy their ways of life. Good intro and good tips, it's a great experience to be there and seeing your photos brings back some great memories of friends and stories.
