Ho Chi Minh City Warning or Danger Tips by kimmo_v

NTK travel company, De Tham street, Saigon, district 1. They sell something that they cant keep;service and promises. We took their bus to MuiNe, to our Huong Bien Mui Ne Resort. AT first, the bus drove to other side of the city;to car registration office. We have to stay outside in the rain.
When we finally get to MuiNe, we were 3 hours late. The bus didnt take us to our resort(as were promised);it stopped at Ha Phuong office(see above...), 7 kilometers before our resort. We had to rent a mopedtaxis to get there. Its really funny sit in the moped(driver about 45 kilos, i weight about 85 kilos), my backpack on the front, daypack on my back and camera-back on my shoulder and its raining. And no rain coat. I almost smiled...

The traffic in Saigon is chaotic! Most of the vehicles are mopeds, only few cars. If you want to go on the other side of the road, walk slow, dont run and never step backwards! Let the mopeds pass you, dont try to pass them.
