Pärnu is the fourth largest town in Estonia, situated by the sea in Western estonia.
Estonia is a strange country in that we have so few larger towns that all of these want to be capitals of the country so desoite our usual pigg-headedness we have reached a compromise. Tallinn is the official capital of the country, Otepää is the winter capital because of the hills and skiing and Tartu Marathon held there and Pärnu is the summer capital of Estonia. Mainly because of the beach (not that other cities in Estonia don't have a beach, but it just turned out somehow like this). There are also many open-air coffee shops, pubs and restaurants. but the only time of the year wirth going there is definetly summer. during the rest of the year the city is pretty much dead. but almost every estonian visits Pärnu at least once every summer... but on the whole during the summertime it is definetly a place worth going to :)

I guess i was unlucky and visited Sunset on on of thse mediocre days, it was so dull and mainstream. But apart from that i enjoyed Pärnu very much
