<p>Ok, here's a word for the wise... most of the stuff people are talking about in the 'Off the beaten path' section on Chicago is NOT off the beaten path. I live in Chicago, I ought to know. You want 'off the beaten path' then go see Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind and eat at Fiesta Mexicana (on Lincoln Avenue near Fullerton) or George's (on Foster near Kedzie). That's off the beaten path.</p>

<p>Anyway, I went to school here and decided to stay when I graduated. It's such a great city I can't even begin to explain. It's great living here and it's great visiting... and that's not a quality that many places have.</p>
