Getting TO/AROUND: Called a Voksal in Russian, this is the train station for points East. if you are going to Sergei pasod, this is where you will depart from. Buy tickets in the back of the building. This is located at the Komsomol Metro Station, but you need to walk down the street a block.

One thing about Moscow train stations, is that they are named for the places at the other end of hte rail, so you have a Belarossiya Voksal, a Leningradskiya Voksal (now St. Pete) and several others.

Be carful taking these trains. No one speaks English, no one cares, and everything is in cyrillic script. If you can't read or speak Russian you''ll need to e careful, and i can't say i would recommend you do this.

Getting TO/AROUND: Called a Voksal in Russian, this is the train station for points North. If you are going to St. Petersburg, this is where you will catch your train. This is located directly across the street from the Komsomol Metro Station.

Moscow train stations are named for the cities at the other end of the rail, so you have a Belarossiya Voksal, a Yaroslavskaya Voksal and several others.

Be carfeful taking these trains. There is no such thing as second languages that I could see, and if you fall asleep, you could wake up very far away. Its quite possible to miss your stop, especially if you can't read cyrillic script.

Getting TO/AROUND: The Russians don't have round trip tickets as far as I can tell. (Toodi ee otranka is hwo to say it if you want to ask) But the tickets from the Kremlin area to the end cost about three dollars. Coming back costs the same amount. You can get off wherever you like, making it cheap and very comfortable, complete with a caf? and bar belowdecks. The scenery is great to watch, and its a comfrotable way to see a lot without spending a lot of money or walking. When your feet get tired, try this one.
