A whole lot of nothing

by dlandt - last update: Sep 8, 2002

if you like wide open places this is the place for you. The state is basically cut in half east to west, the east is farmlands and the west is the badlands. There are things in each half, but when I was here I was alone, I didn't know anyone and so didn't get shown around a lot.

Ah, the one state where I haven't been to! Btw, I sent you a VT photo-card. Did you get it?

I guess you have to be able to appreciate the beauty of the badland areas to like North Dakota. I've loved my trips to the western part of the state.
