T / subway: The 'T'
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • 'Mode': AROUND
    Category: Subway/Metro
Getting TO/AROUND: Getting round Boston (and the suburds beyond) couldn't be easier. And at $1 per trip, incredibly good value. Four lines travese north/south/east/west through central Boston and the cities beyond (Cambridge for Harvard: Brookline etc). Any number of changes for your initial $1

  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • 'Mode': AROUND
    Category: Other
Getting TO/AROUND: Being a relatively small city, once you have used the T to get to your general position, Boston is a very easy city to walk around (and certainly preferable to any other attempts above ground - the redevelopment of the roads along the waterfront - known as The Big Dig - is not scheduled to finish until 2005 and causes traffic mayhem).

Great intro... a grower huh? I'm glad you learned to appreciate the area after all. It is indeed a grower..and took it for what it is. Your Boston page is way better than mine! Yey to Beacon!

It's obvious that whoever wrote this comment about CONSTITUTION's name (for never having gone into battle) is ignorant of American history. She sailed into harm's way quite a few times, and defeated (amongst others) HMS GUERRIERE in Aug 1812.

Did you manage to see any witches or is it only pictures in the museums.
