At $100 dollars for 2 (room only), this was a cheap option at this level of facilities for Bahamas! Cheaper also because of it being out of the way, but this was a positive point as far as we were concerned.
Unique Qualities: Away from the excesses of Cable Beach and Paradise Island. Situated overlooking a long, almost deserted beach. As a result, not a lot going on in the area, but with the local minibus stopping outside the door, 30 minues will find you in Nassau, 20 minutes in Cable Beach.
Public rooms initmate and friendly - books, newspapers, quiet bar, honesty book for drinks etc. Supposedly a fairly good restaurant (didn't try it). Accommodation is more in the American motel style - 2 blocks of 2 floors overlooking the decent sized pool. Huge rooms (2 double beds) with small balcony/terrace, clean, functional etc if a little characterless.
