North Yorkshire has to be one of the most spectacular of all places in the UK - stunning and varied scenery, ruined castles, moody abbeys, grand cathedrals, genteel towns and villages, the location for so many movies and television series that sometimes wihtout realising it, we are already very familiar with North Yorkshire :)
