Hobart is an interesting place to visit....the pace of life is slow and laid-back and its people are very friendly....i stayed in a rented house on the slopes of a hill and just looking up and down at the houses around u is fun!also...from where i come from...people work in corporate jobs but there...its no surprise to find 18-yr old fishermen and busdrivers and they really look as though they enjoy what they are doing...which is part of Tasmania's charm...everyone does what he/she likes...no pressure to earn big bucks or work yr way up the corporate ladder... |
