My AFS year in Fargo

Being Norwegian, at first ND felt familiar to me. Bur there are subtle cultural differencies, which you discover after a while.
The people are friendly, and outgoing and easy to get to know. I have made some lifetime friends I am sure. But somehow Americans seem to treat friendship lighter than I am used to from home.
I really enjoyed playing soccer for Fargo North High, and if any of my team-mates ever read this, thanks for the treat.
And to my great American family: I love you
