New York will always have a special place in my heart, as at the age of 19 I had found the confidence to go travelling on my own. I admit that I would have loved the original destination to have been San Francisco, as that is the one place in America that I have always wanted to visit, but due to my spontaneous decision to go travelling and the limited funds available at the time, New York was calling me.
However, having said that, it was probably the best decision that I had ever made, one that I not regretted in the slightest!!! |
