We arrived at the train station with no hotel. We eventually managed to get a room at a hotel literally 300 metres away from the Stephansdom, you cannot get any closer to the old town. We managed to get a room for 100 Euros via the hotel reservation centre at the train station. I think the normal rate is around 140/180 Euros.
Unique Qualities: I liked staying here despite it being a little on the noisy side. The hotel occupies the second and third floors of the building. It has one of those old european lifts and a marble staircase leading to the different floors.
