Off The Beaten Path: EWB ~ engineer without borders
  • Tip Rating: [Not enough ratings yet]
  • yes Luanne did it a few years back, and her sister Evonne also was in Toronto a month ago for a week long training before flying off to Ghana with25 others.
    What and who are EWB,
here is an extract from Acceptance speech, April 26, 2007
Parker Mitchell and George Roter, Co-CEOs - EWB ' . . .The quality of people EWB attracts humbles and sometimes scares me. We have Rhode’s Scholars, Ivy League graduates and people who are finishing at the top of their class. Last fall I was meeting with the Dean of Engineering from a prominent East Coast University who demanded to know why all his top students were also leading the local EWB chapter.

Why? Because there is a latent need among the new cohort of highly talented young people to experience this love that does justice. . . . "

I am jolly proud of their Canadian giving spirit, sharing and tiem wil tell, their caring will evolve ;-)))

Honest Ed is such HORRABLE store. These is nothing interesting or memorable for tourists to buy. That store is like an ugly wart on the "face" of downtown TO....
