In Flanders Fields
by Lt. Col. John McCrae, M.D. of the Canadian Army
was written on May 3, 1915 and published in Punch Magazine
In Flanders Fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.
We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie
In Flanders fields.
Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

a journalist born in Haiti has been appointed 27th Governor General of Canada, to take office on October 1st, 2005.
Mixed reaction both positive and negative. Despite being a multi-awards winning journalist, i was surprised that she did not speak so much towards Canadians as to neeting the needs of south nations
she will have to satisfy her critics as to whether she is able to serve to needs of majority of Canada's diverse population and serve Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II
- Pros:Courageous adventurous People , non racial, many ethnics
- Cons:huge distances and extreme climates
- In a nutshell:a GREAT country to live and belong to ;-))) to Travel too
